Classentra's only per-sale fee, charged at checkout on each sale a student makes through Classentra. Free enrollments carry no fee, and neither do payments you log in the ledger on Educator and Studio.
With a Stripe account in the US or Canada the fee is all-in: Stripe's card processing is inside it. Elsewhere it is the percentage only, and Stripe bills its card processing to you separately.

† Community = a private discussion space attached to a course, where members post threads, ask questions, and chat. Every course can have its own; the teacher sets whether joining is free or paid, and each community keeps its own member roster.
Cohort = one scheduled run of a course, with its own start date and a group that moves through it together. A course can run as many cohorts as you like; each keeps its own roster, waitlist, and seat count (or open enrolment).
‡ Announcement emails count recipients: one announcement sent to 1,000 people uses 1,000 of the monthly quota. Transactional email (receipts, invites, password resets) never counts.
AI units meter what a call actually costs: everyday drafts and replies are 1 unit, heavy grading-quality calls are 15. When your monthly units run out, AI keeps working on a lighter model instead of stopping. Your live counter is on the Billing page.
Marketplace introduction fee (reserved, not yet active): if Classentra's own discovery brings you a brand-new student, we may one day add a small, capped, one-time introduction fee on that first sale. It is not charged today, will apply only if and when that feature ships, and will be announced in advance. It never applies to students you bring yourself.
